Weather & Weight Resistant
Commonly found on driveways resin bound stone is designed to be tough. It is able to withstand the weight of a fully loaded car whilst taking into account other safety concerns like grip, subsidence and puddling water. The permeable surface mitigates risks of ‘black ice’ and freeze-thaw damage.
Low Maintenace
Polyurethane resin binds the stone with the subbase effectively gluing the new surface in place. When well maintained resin bound stone is resistant to weeds and algae growth. Higher quality resin mixes are available with UV stable bin and also resistant to petrol or oil spills.
